Why can’t I see information for my record contribution?

In most cases, this is the result of two person profiles being merged in Family Tree, and the profile attached to your contribution can longer be displayed. Consider the following example.

The person's name is missing

Sometimes Family Tree merges the profile for a deceased person with the profile for a living person. When this happens, the resulting profile is private.

Your contribution helped make Family Tree more accurate, but we can no longer show you the name of the person it helped.
