What are FamilySearch family groups?

FamilySearch family groups allow users to collaborate and communicate through FamilySearch Chat. Group members can chat with all group members.

Do groups have a size limit?

A group can have up to 100 FamilySearch users.

How many family groups can I join?

Each FamilySearch user can join up to 10 family groups.

Can group members share living information in Family Tree?

No. Living information is visible only to the user who created it.

Can group members see or share private memories?

No. Private memories are visible only to the user who created them.
