A deleted memory stays in the Recently Deleted folder for 120 days. You can restore a deleted photograph, audio file, or written story quickly and easily by using either the FamilySearch website or the Memories mobile app.
Steps (website)
- While signed in on the FamilySearch website, click Memories.
- Click Gallery.
- Click Recently Deleted.
- Click the memory that you want to restore.
- Click Actions.
- Click Move to My Memories.
Steps (mobile app)
- In the Memories mobile app, display your recently deleted memories
- Android: In the top left corner, tap the three lines, followed by Recently Deleted.
- Apple iOS: In the bottom right corner, tap the three dots, followed by Recently Deleted.
- Tap the Select.
- Tap Select Memories.
- Tap each memory that you would like to restore.
- Tap the three dots.
- Tap Restore Memories.
