All members of a family group tree can copy people from private trees into a family group tree. This lets you add missing family members and update their profiles after adding more information into your private tree.
If you copy people who are already in the family group tree, Family Tree does not create duplicates. Instead, it adds the missing memories, notes, and sources.
All group participants should be aware of and follow the privacy guidelines, FamilySearch terms of use, and the group's code of conduct. It is contributors' responsibility to make sure that they have the right and permission to share information within the group, including the personal information of other living individuals.
