Teach Yourself and Others: Webinar Resources from the Family History Library

During the month of January, and throughout 2016, the Family History Library will be hosting a number of free online family history classes and webinars. These classes and webinars are designed to help individuals and families find their ancestors and to teach important family history techniques. They are free to the public. Information about specific classes, as well as information on how to register for classes, can be found on the FamilySearch Wiki page.

A recorded version of the webinars will be available online shortly after they have been presented. Many previously-recorded classes can be found on the same FamilySearch Wiki page.

Here are some examples of several webinars that will be available throughout the month of January:

British Isles Webinars—England Research on FamilySearch, England Census, England Civil Registration, Church of England Research, and Non-Conformist Research.

US/Canada Webinars—Beginning Research, the FamilySearch Wiki.

International Webinars—Finding Parishes in Germany and Getting Started with Polish Research.

Scandinavian Webinars—Norwegian Emigration, Getting Started with Polish Research.

Indexing Workshops—Indexing Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French Records.
