The RootsTech team is growing in excitement as we count down to FamilySearch’s pinnacle family discovery event—RootsTech 2026. Every year, RootsTech has new and improved content and experiences for its attendees, and this year is no different.

RootsTech attendees will be buzzing today as the much-anticipated session schedule is released, which will allow attendees to customize their RootsTech experience with a schedule perfectly suited for their needs. With attendees having the choice of joining in person in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, or joining online from wherever they are, there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy!

Online Attendees: Unlock RootsTech Online Tools

If you choose to attend RootsTech 2026 online, hundreds of on-demand and webinar sessions are available to watch during the conference. You can create your session schedule before RootsTech begins by following these simple steps:

  1. Visit the RootsTech home page, and sign in to your account.
  2. At the top right of the page, click RootsTech Event, and then click Class Schedule.
  3. Add online classes to your schedule by clicking a class's + Schedule button.
  4. Filter the classes to show in-person and online viewable classes.
  5. Tailor your RootsTech experience to your specific interests.

In-Person Attendees: Use the RootsTech 2026 App
