RootsTech 2025, the largest family history conference of the year, will be here before you know it. In fact, registration just opened on September 25, 2024. The online RootsTech conference will be available for free on RootsTech.org. The paid in-person conference will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on March 6–8, 2025.

A RootsTech fan-favorite, to be sure, the Expo Hall is like a small village inside the convention center, where every booth, every table, every display is dedicated to family history. This is the perfect place to see the groundbreaking innovations and helpful products that vendors provide. There will also be opportunities to connect with representatives from many genealogy-related companies and institutions.
Inspiring Main Stage Sessions
Think of the RootsTech main stage as the core of the conference, where celebrities, influencers, experts, and even performers take to the stage to share their talents, insights, and touching family stories. With thousands of RootsTech conference goers filling the seats below, the air in the Main Stage auditorium is always electric.
Find Cousins at RootsTech
For a time before and after the RootsTech conference begins, Relatives at RootsTech will be available to all attendees, whether in-person or virtual. This is an opportunity for you to see if you are related to any of the hundreds of thousands of users who have opted in during the conference (maybe even one of our keynotes!).
