M-Boxes and Landing Pages

Updates_FamilySearch

FamilySearch.org is now using M-Boxes to become more engaging to users.

M-Boxes are also used to let users know what new collections are available in FamilySearch or new features that have been added. These M-Boxes are areas on the screen where FamilySearch can display ads like the ones below:

The power behind M-Boxes is that different ads can be displayed to different users. That helps FamilySearch identify which version of an ad is clicked most often.

FamilySearch Landing Pages

Landing pages are helping to draw users to FamilySearch.org. As a new landing page is available, you can read about it in the FamilySearch blog.

In honor of St. Patrick’s day, here’s a short article about the contributions of the Irish: https://familysearch.org/blog/en/share-stories-photos-irish-ancestors/. The article includes a link to the new Irish landing page, where everyone is invited to preserve family memories of Irish ancestors:

Keep watching the FamilySearch blog for a new page highlighting ancestors who played baseball.
