Your stake is invited to join with hundreds of other stakes and districts in hosting a 2015 RootsTech Family History Fair. This is a unique opportunity to engage those members of your stake that are not currently participating in family history with a fun and educational event. It will provide tools and resources to those who are passionate about family history and it will reach out to your friends and neighbors who might share an interest in their family history.
We have heard tremendously positive feedback from those stakes who have participated in the 2014 program and are excited to offer this enhanced opportunity to do so again in 2015.
Family history fairs should be a heart turning experience that inspires and motivates the members of your stake to increase family name submissions for the temple, strengthen family ties, protect their youth and children from the power of the adversary and encourage them to invite friends and investigators to learn more about their own families. People of all ages should be invited to attend and participate in this activity.
