You have received several invitations over the months to participate in a Family Discovery Day. Now that RootsTech 2016 is in the record books, if you haven’t already, it is time to sign up your branch, ward, or stake for your local Family Discovery Day. Recorded classes for you to share will be available by April 1.
This year you will find that sessions are shorter, allowing you to plan more hands-on experiences for those who attend. You may want to invite local presenters who can use RootsTech materials to supplement their class presentations. Look for ways to involve families, young and old together.

Family Discovery Day is an experience designed to help individuals discover more about who they are and where they came from and simultaneously help their ancestors progress on their path to receiving vital saving ordinances. It’s a day to learn, make connections, and celebrate the joy of belonging to a family.
