This collection contains index & images of baptisms, marriages, and deaths from the Diocesi of Piazza Armerina (Diocesi di Piazza Armerina), Italy. Also includes confirmations (cresime); church censuses (stato delle anime); and marriage supplemental documents (processetti).
The diocese was established in 1817 from the Diocese of Catania[1]. In 1844 parts of the dioceses of Nicosia and Siracusa were added, and territory with Diocese of Caltagirone was exchanged[2].
