Index to volumes 1-3 gives registration number and folio (page) number.

These records are a cumulation of births and baptisms from all over England. There are two sets of records containing the same information. The first set is the registration information transcribed into bound volumes (v. 1-3) and includes and index. The second set is loose papers containing the original registration information and does not have an index.

Volumes 1-3 are filmed in an unusual arrangement. Each volume is filmed with all of the left hand pages (folios) appearing first, e.g. pages 2, 4, 6, etc., then the right hand pages (folios), e.g. pages 1, 3, 5, etc., instead of being in consecutive order.

Includes baptisms at the English Chapel in Stockholm (Certificate nos. 10276-10291).
