This church is located between Galva and Moundridge. It was also known as Canton Mennonite Church.

Church members came from the Volhynian villages of Antonovka (now Antonivka), Karlswalde (now Prikordonne), Yadvigin (or Jadwinina, now Novosilka), Karl'sberg, and Kronswalde. The last two localities no longer exist.

The term "Russia" in the subject heading refers to the locality designation in the historical Russian Empire or Soviet Union.
