Get Involved Help

Get Involved is a FamilySearch webpage and app where you can find opportunities to index records and review names that were indexed by a computer.
In March of 2022, the Indexing tab on the FamilySearch homepage was replaced by Get Involved, a new site for accessing volunteer opportunities at FamilySearch, including indexing and reviewing names.
When you review a name, you make sure that the computer indexed it correctly.
FamilySearch consistently seeks access to new records, though technology and cost can limit how quickly we can make the records available for indexing and reviewing.
