FamilySearch Adds More Than 2 Million Indexed Records and Images to Brazil, England, Germany, Isle of Man, Netherlands, and the United States

FamilySearch has added more than 2 million indexed records and images to collections from Brazil, England, Germany, Isle of Man, Mexico, Netherlands, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, and the United States. Notable collection updates include the 148,960 images from the England, Durham, Diocese of Durham Original Wills, 1650–1857, collection; the 91,952 indexed records from the South Africa, Cape Province, Civil Deaths, 1895–1972, collection; and the 804,247 indexed records and images from U.S., Illinois, Cook County Deaths, 1878–1922, 1959–1994, collection.Search these diverse collections and more than 3.5 billion other records for free at FamilySearch.org.

  1. my wife and I are looking forward to the records for the early 1600,s and earlier our family’s came to the the new world in the early 1600’s and the late 1500’s.
    we know that those records are hard to read so we are waiting.

  2. Why is it necessary to enter credit card details when signing up for a FREE look up. This is suspicious and is a complete turn off to prospective customers.
