Wychnor is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Staffordshire, created in 1792 from chapelry in Tatenhill, Staffordshire Ancient Parish.

Wychnor was a chapelry in Tattenhill parish; it became a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1792, refounded in 1881. It was a township, became a civil parish in 1866, and despite its small population it still has that status.
