Parish History[edit | edit source]

West Acton, Middlesex. ACTON (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Brentford, Kensington division of the hundred of Ossulstone, county of Middlesex, 5 miles (W.) from London; There is a place of worship for Independents a Roman Catholic chapel.[1]

Additional information:

West Acton All Saints was one of two district churches built in West Acton within a year of each other. All Saints was built by the year 1905 (the other--St Martin was completed by 1906). It lay within the civil parish boundary of Acton St Mary.
