The Vacaville California Family History Center, located in Browns Valley on 480 Wrentham Drive, serves all of Vacaville and surrounding areas. We have about 15 volunteers trained to help many patrons who visit the Center each year. The Center is dedicated to providing assistance for the family history community in the Solano County area. Everyone is welcome!

  • FamilySearch offers a variety of free online classes to help you search and compile your family tree. Whether you are just beginning your family history research or are an experienced genealogist, you can learn something new. These classes are taught by genealogy research consultants at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as experts from around the world. Most classes include a PDF handout that you can down to read and print.
  • You can view the list of classes or search for classes on a specific topic. Classes are categorized by Places, Subjects, Skill Levels, and Subject Languages.

FamilySearch’s Microfilm Ordering Service

Get Access to Billions of Records

FamilySearch’s Microfilm Ordering service is your gateway to a vast collection of genealogical and historical records. The service allows you to reserve and loan films to family history centers and affiliate libraries. The loan is free, but there is a small shipping and handling charge for each film.
