Stakes Utah County, 1930

Alpine Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Northeast part of Utah County, Utah, north of the Utah lake.[1]
  • Wards, 1930: Alpine, American Fork 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and Highland.

Kolob Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Springville, Utah Co., Utah, the adjacent settlement of Mapleton and the saints residing in Spanish Fork and Clear Creek canyons up to the summit of the Wasatch Mountains.[2]
  • Wards, 1930: Mapleton, Springville 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th wards, and the branches of Soldier Summit and Thistle.

Lehi Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Extends north to the mountains which separate Utah County from Salt Lake County, east to the Alpine Stake, south to the Utah Lake and the Tintic Stake, and west to the chain of mountains separating Cedar Valley from Rush Valley.[3]
  • Wards, 1930: Cedar Valley, Lehi 1st, Lehi 2nd, Lehi 3rd, Lehi 4th, Lehi 5th and the Fairfield Branch.

Nebo Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Southwest part of Utah County, Utah[4]
  • Wards, 1930: Payson 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, Benjamin, Santaquin 1st, 2nd, Spring Lake, and Genola Branch.

Palmyra Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: East central part of Utah County, Utah[5]
  • Wards, 1930: Lake Shore, Leland, Palmyra, Salem, Spanish Fork 1,2,3,4,5.

Sharon Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Both sides of the Provo River and on the so-called Provo Bench, in Utah County, Utah. It extends to the Wasatch Mountains or the Utah-Wasatch County line. It extends to Utah Lake.[6]
  • Wards, 1930: Edgemont, Grand View, Lake View, Pleasant View, Sharon, Timpanogos and Vineyard.

Timpanogos Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: That part of Utah Valley lying west of the noted mountain known as Timpanogos.[7]
  • Wards, 1930: Lindon, Manila, Pleasant Grove 1st, Pleasant Grove 2nd, Pleasant Grove 3rd, and Windsor.

Tintic Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: Located in the Tintic Mining District in Juab County, Utah, and in the southwest part of Utah County.[8]
  • Wards, 1930: Eureka, Elberta, Goshen, Knightsville, Mammoth, and Silver City.

Utah Stake, Utah

  • Boundaries: central part of Utah County, Utah[9]
  • Wards, 1930: Bonneville, Manavu ,Pioneer, Provo 1st, Provo 2nd, Provo 3rd,Provo 4th, Provo 5th, Provo 6th.
