I mentioned that I like to find things for people in parts of the world most people don't think of in regards to family history/genealogy, such as Guatemala.
David Dilts is doing some interesting things in the wiki, regarding linking to sites that are in the FHL favorites, and I'd like to use part of my talk page as a place to vet links out so that they can be looked at by others and then maybe added to other pages by others who are working on the specific portals or individual locality pages as deemed appropriate. Just add some here and we can all work things through to make the external links more relevant and up-to-date.
|http://schwertfamily.net/maps.htm Westpreussen Historic Maps, contains a couple from Buffalo New York.
|http://wiki-de.genealogy.net/Hauptseite German-language genealogy/family history wiki. May prove very useful.
|http://www.candoo.com/genresources/microfilms.htm Page containing some very useful links for those researching Carribean ancestors, mostly tables of listings of what microfilms are available for various locations, also contains a hurricane or storm timeline which is useful for those working on Carribean region ancestors, since records may discuss a particular storm that occurred relative to where the ancestor was at the time.
