I am currently a research consultant for the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.  My specialty is Southern States  on the US/Canda team.  My BA is in Business Management.  In 2004 I completed a BYU Family History Certificate.

I enjoy researching all Southern States, but I spend most of my time in Tennessee records.  I especially enjoy learning and researching about Tennessee in the Civil War.

I do not have any Southern States ancestors, but all of my husband's ancestors were in the Southern States prior to the Revolutionary War. Nearly all of them lived in Colonial Virginia.

My own ancestors include one line of New  Englanders, a Pennsylvania-Dutch line, a South African English line and many lines of English ancestors.  All my ancestors came to the U.S. by 1861.

I am currently completing my Accreditation as a professional genealgist in Mid-South States.
