Section of American handwoven multiple-harness coverlet in own collection. Own photo.
Have been doing personal genealogical research for some 25 years, with emphasis on County records in PA, MD and WV.
Also researching the history of Euro-American handweaving in the USA with emphasis on coverlets (that is, ~not~ quilts) and genealogies of multi-generation weaving families.  Reside in the Midwest in a State irrelevant to my own family background.  Love Mountain Laurel, mountains, fireflies in July, mountains, the aroma of September and September light for photography, mountains, Spring Beauties and One-eyed Marys, mountains, flowering ginger and May Apples  and of course, did I say mountains?  Backpacking and winter camping are in my past, as are offset printing and wastewater treatment technology.
