For three years, 2006-2009, Barbara served on the library's Customer Experience team and was in charge of scheduling library patron classes and special events such as 'Summer of Sleuthing.' Barbara returned to the position of a British Research Consultant in November 2009. In that position, she has taught many library patron classes over the years.

Barbara has worked at the Family History Library for twenty-eight years as a British Research Consultant. In that position, she has taught many library patron classes. Barbara is currently the Patron Services Manager for the British research area of the library.
