I grew up in Panama and attended the Canal Zone College before moving to the States. My family originated from the provinces of Veraguas and Chiriqui, but I also have Chinese, Sephardic, and indigenous roots (Dorasque). I've been researching my family history for over 20 years. During that time, I was able to collect a large library of Panama books that are rich in historical, cultural, and biographical data.

I'm active in several local genealogical groups and a member of the National Genealogical Society. I"ve taught seminars on Hispanic genealogy in both English and Spanish. Currently the Panama wiki only has a few items from my collection, but I hope to add a lot more over the next few weeks. I invite your comments, contributiions, and your stories.
