FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

Torrance Family History Center has been serving the community for the past 25 years. We have a group of dedicated and knowledgeable Family History Consultants who can help you with any research problem you have.

Monday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
Thursday, 9:30 am  -8:30 pm
Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Holiday Schedule

  • Closed for major holidays
  • The Family History Center will be closed on April 23rd through April 28th for maintenance.

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
