:Hi Don, I agree that Rural Deaneries are different, they are subdivisions of an archdeaconries comprising a number of parishes. Whereas a deanery is associated with a cathedral and so is not a jurisdiction. Hi Don, I agree that Rural Deaneries are different, they are subdivisions of an archdeaconries comprising a number of parishes. Whereas a deanery is associated with a cathedral and so is not a jurisdiction.
