Page width

Does everyone like the page width being constrained by the navigation boxes on the right? A possible alternative is to remove the constraints and allow the page width to expand, such as on South Carolina. Thought? Murphynw 21:05, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

I am unfamiliar with creating galleries, so I inserted book citations for now. Feel free to change them to galleries. Murphynw 21:24, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

One issue with the gallery -- the way it is currently set up, you can only link out to one online repository. What if the digital book is available at Google Books, BYU Family History Archives, Internet Archives, Ancestry.com, and World Vital Records? I'd like to give people all the access options. Murphynw 17:23, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Hmmm...  good point.  How many online repositories would be important enough to mention, though?  Similar to the census info in Online New York indexes and images, I could see a grid of online repositories. But how to decide which repositories to list? Should each digitized book mentioned then be checked in all available repositories? Would a template help?  The captions in the gallery don't need to be links.  Lise 22:52, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Stub Status

Are we about out of "stub" category?  There are just a few gaps.  Is there specific criteria from when an article is no longer a stub? Lise 17:48, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Good question. Currently we have the Article assessment criteria copied over from Wikipedia (which needs more community discussion/input). However based on this criteria, this article is a long way above stub on the quality scale and is probably C-Class or B-Class. --Steve 18:18, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
