The reference links problem has been reported to the Family History Library cataloguers (2009-02-24). The links need to be left there until they have the chance to see the problem to understand the need to remove the brackets in the titles found in the catalog. dsammy 05:35, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

City hall links are better left exposed. The cities change their links at times. Masked links serve no purpose when the cities change with the governments. dsammy 07:46, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Catalogers aren't going to remove brackets in titles of entries in the catalog. It's actually standard cataloging practice to enclose a title in brackets if the original author doesn't give a title and the cataloger has to create one. There are 60,000 catalog entries with brackets in the title. Our linking problem is a problem with wiki code, not cataloging. Therefore, I've created a fix that'll work for us when linking to catalog entries with brackets in the title. Ritcheymt 03:34, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
