I have returned the following 2 batches (2 images) for Image Review..... of Philadelphia Passenger Lists. See Below:

This Project is Batched Wrong...

As the project is currently set up.. until this project is completed.. over 90% of the passengers will have No ship name and no date of arrival associated with their names... because most of the passenger pages do not have the ship name and date of arrival... She ship name and date of arrival is on the Cover page.. and on the Custom's declaration page (if present)

The National Archives has all images of all ships grouped together by Ship Name and Date of Arrival..
Pages are listed in this order:
1.) Cover page (includes Ship Name & Date of Arrival),
2.)Manifest Header page, with Ship name(with or without passengers... but usually no passengers),
3.) Passenger pages,
4.) Custom's Declaration page (includes Ship name and usually date.. which is date of arrival)

Therefore, All Passengers arrived on a specific date and on a ship with a name.... Unfortunately, the way this project is set up and batched, most passengers will be indexed without a date or ship name.

For Indexing All Images for Each ship should be grouped together as one batch.. with the Ship name and date of arrival being entered in the Header Data area.. so that each passenger is indexed with a Ship Name and Date of Arrival.

The Major Error with the Project Setup is:
As the project is currently set up.. until this project is completed.. over 90% of the passengers will have No ship name and no date of arrival associated with their names... because most of the passenger pages do not have the ship name and date of arrival... She ship name and date of arrival is on the Cover page.. and on the Custom's declaration page (if present)
