Looks like the wrong county is showing on the front of this page.  For whatever reason, the state map for Utah showing Utah County highlighted is on this page rather than the one showing Davis County, two counties directly north of Utah County.  JamesAnderson 00:36, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

I was alerted to the wrong link and corrected it. dsammy 05:46, 28 December 2008 (UTC)

Wasn't sure where to put FHL catalog link for "Description and Travel" so created new heading just before References.   Is there some kind of standard I should know about. JanaStokes 22:41, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

I checked Library of Congress Catalogs Newspapers in Microfilm United States 1948-1938 Vol 2 P-Z and Title Index. FHL US/CAN Book 011.35 N479 v. 2 for newspapers in Bountiful and found:

  • Davis County argus.  1894?-1909? w;  UU s Je 1894-Ag 1909; UmC m Je 1894-Ag 1909
  • Davis County Clipper.  1891- w; UPB s 1916-1948; 1952-; UU s Mr 1892-1948; 1952-; UmC m Mr 1892-1948; 1952-

In the listing for what the codes mean UPB = BYU. UU = Univer Utah. But no code for UmC = Omniwest Corporation, Perpetual Storage, 3322 So. 3rd E, SLC, UT 84115. The "?" means "information questionable or incomplete" per legend in book.  The UmC holdings are not mentioned in Chronicling America.
