St. Labre Indian School was established in 1884 by the Catholic Church. It originally offered educational opportunities primarily for Northern Cheyenne Indian children, but extended its services to children on the Crow Reservation in 1965. It is located in Ashland, Montana. A history of the school was written as a part of its centennial celebration.
