FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

 

The Sierra Vista Arizona Family History Center has its own building dedicated to serving the family history research needs of the community.

  • Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.  Online ordering of film and fiche for delivery and viewing at the center is available to registered patrons.
  • Indefinite Loan Collection:  This center has nearly 3,000 films and/or fiche on-site for local use.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. 
  • Third Party Software:  A variety of third party software products are available for use and evaluation at the center.
