FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

Center Contacts and Hours

Location & Map:

  • Entrance is located in the back (west side) of the building

Open Hours: Wednesdays 10am - 2pm & 5pm - 9pm

Holiday Schedule: Closed on Holidays that fall on Wednesday. Closed the two weeks that include Christmas day and New Years day. Closed when weather closes the local schools.

Center Resources


  • Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
  • Small collection of books covering the local area and general genealogy subjects
  • Microfiche and Microfilm collections in various research areas

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. 

Hardware and Equipment

  • 4 computers with internet access
  • 4 microfilm readers
  • 2 microfiche readers
  • 1 microfilm/microfiche copier with capabilities to save to your usb drive
