Riverton FamilySearch Library

The Riverton FamilySearch Library has been very popular with local family history researchers in the south part of the Salt Lake Valley since opening its doors on June 21, 2010

Oral History Room

The Riverton FamilySearch Library has recently added an Oral History Room to it's facility. The space is designed with state-of-the-art audio and video technology. The comfortable furnishings and sound proofed interior provide a quiet secluded area ideal for recording personal histories.  Click here for details on scheduling our Oral History Room.

The library offers a wide range of classes on family history topics. Click here for a brief description of each class and class schedules.

Group Visit Opportunities

The Riverton FamilySearch Library is pleased and eager to offer the opportunity for individuals, organizations, and others to schedule a group visit to our library. We offer a variety of options that are sure to provide interest to your group. They include a short presentation, 20-25 minutes, in one of our meeting rooms with the remainder of the time in the library. Seminars & Workshops

On the third Saturday of each month, the library offers a free three-hour Saturday Seminar.  On the second Saturday of each month a Boy Scout Merit Badge Workshop is presented.  Click here for details on the seminar or the workshop.

2013 Summer Youth Conference

The Riverton FamilySearch Library is again offering a youth conference activity for wards during the summer of 2013. The 2012 conferences were enjoyed by more than 1200 youth and their leaders from about 50 wards and we felt the effort was a great success.  Click here for details and registration information for the 2013 Youth Conference activity.
