Ringsted Municipality is a municipality in Region Sjælland on the island of Zealand in east Denmark and the main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Ringsted.
Ringsted municipality was not merged with other municipalities on January 1, 2007 as the result of the nationwide Municipal Reform of 2007.
