Six volumes of Rhode Island Bible Records, copied by Josephine Keefer Short and Mrs. Bentley W. Morse, are at the Rhode Island Historical Society and the Family History Library (Family History Library film 022395 items 4-9). Some Bible records at the Newport Historical Society (82 Touro Street, Newport, Rhode Island 02840) are also at the Family History Library (Family History Library film 945224).

The Family History Library has obtained two collections that include Bible records from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). The collection for Rhode Island is on 23 films and is described in Rhode Island Genealogy. A collection of records from New York that also includes some Rhode Island records is on 12 films at the library. Both collections are partially indexed in E. Kay Kirkham, An Index to Some of the Bibles and Family Records of the United States, Volume 2 (Logan, Utah: Everton Publishers, 1984; Family History Library book 973 D22kk v.2; fiche 6089184).
