History[edit | edit source]

  • The commune was founded on February 25, 1897 with the name of Las Barrancas.
  • Las Barrancas had two towns: El Resbalón and Las Barrancas.
  • The migrations of the countryside and provincial workers give a marked popular character.
  • On October 13, 1975, his name is changed to Pudahuel.
  • The commune of Pudahuel has a population of approximately 226,000 people[1].
