Pah-Ute County was a former county in the northwest corner of Arizona Territory from 1865 until 1871. Part of Pah-Ute County was given by the U.S. Congress on 18 January 1867 to Nevada.[1]

  • Pah-Ute County on 22 December 1865 was created by Arizona out of the northwest part Mohave County.
  • Ewell County's name 22 November 1865 was changed by Arizona to Pah-Ute County.
  • A large portion of Pah-Ute County 18 January 1867 was given to Nevada.
  • Remainder of Pah-Ute County on 21 March 1895 was merged by Arizona back into Mohave County.

The former Pah-Ute County land in Nevada was used to form Clark County, and the southern parts of Lincoln and Nye counties.
