FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Family History Center in Orofino Idaho has consultants, when the library is open, to help you learn how to use different genealogy sites to aid you in your search in finding your ancestors. The library has genealogy sites you can search for free while using the library; Ancestry.com. Findmypast, Puzzilla.org premium site, Fold4, MyHeritage, and many more. We also teach how to do indexing. We would love to help you in your family search!

  • Wednesday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Thursday: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
  • Friday: INDEXING FOR EVERYONE; 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.
