Record Description

This collection contains baptisms, marriages and deaths from some Catholic and Church of England in Canada parishes. When the entire collection is published, it will cover the years 1756-1930. The dates may vary for each parish.

How to Use the Record

Church records supply information about families and individuals.

To search the collection select "Browse through images" on the initial collection page ⇒Select the “City/Town” ⇒Select the “Name of Denomination/Parish” ⇒Select the “Record Type and Year Range” which takes you to the images

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.

When the citation has been replaced with a citation specific to the collection being described, the heading should be changed to “Citation Example for a Record Found in This Collection”in Heading style 3.
