FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

The Newbury Park Family History Center serves the Conjeo Valley community.  Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to help you with your family history research, whether you are a beginner or more experienced.  Please note that we have free access to many subscription premium websites such as Ancestry, NewspaperArchive, Fold3 and more.  We invite you to stop in to see what we offer; everyone is welcome!

Center Contacts and Hours

Location & Map:

  1. 35 South Wendy Drive, Newbury Park, California
  3. Park in the church lot and look for the Family History Center sign near the steps at the NW section of the building. Please ring bell for admittance.


Open Hours:

Monday: 10-1 p.m.

Tuesday - Thursday: 9-noon

Tuesday & Wednesday: 7-9 p.m.

Other hours by appointment: call Teresa Sanofsky, director (818) 536-2330

Holiday Schedule: Closed on major holidays.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access to premium family history websites that generally charge for subscriptions. 

Hardware and Equipment

  • The Center has six computers, four microfilm readers, one reader that can scan to flash drive, CD or printer, microfiche readers, printers, a scanner, and wifi access.'
