Question #1: Some of the records in this collection are linked to the wrong images. How can the correct image be found?
Answer #1: The correct image may be found by moving the forward or backward arrows a few images on the image viewer screen. The records are arranged in alphabetical order by groom's name which may help in locating the correct image. You may also view the original film at a FamilySearch Center. The correct film number which contains the images you are searching for is found on the indexed information page. For instructions on ordering microfilms see Ordering Microfilm or Microfiche.
Question #2: My ancestor is indexed with incorrect parents. How can I find the correct record?
Answer #2: The records in some of these folders are cards with a front and back to record all of the individual’s information. Because of missing images between the front and back of some images, the indexer has combined two records that are not connected. The pages may have been missed in the original filming or they may have been missed when the digital film was copied causing the indexer to connect information incorrectly. The only way to check this would be to order the original microfilm and see if the missing images are on it. The film number should be listed on the indexed information page for the individual. See Film ordering information in Question and Answer #1.
