Resources for Montana Newspapers

The Montana Historical Society has the largest collection of Montana newspapers. The society has a card file of obituaries, primarily from pre-1920 newspapers.

The Montana State University Libraryand the Mansfield Library at the University of Montana also have collections. The Family History Library has not acquired newspapers from the state.
