  • 9th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized originally as Bowen's Cavalry Battalion, which was designated 9th Cavalry October, 1862, by consolidation with other Companies.
    Discontinued by consolidation with 10th Missouri Cavalry December 4, 1862. Companies "G" and "H" attached to 3rd Missouri Cavalry December 11, 1862.
  • 10th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at Jefferson Barracks, Mo., October, 1862, from 28th Missouri Infantry. Bowen's Battalion assigned as Companies "A," "B," "C" and "D," and six Companies organized for 9th Missouri Cavalry assigned December 17, 1862, as Companies "E," "F," "G" and "H."
    Served in various locations to May, 1865. Then with 2nd Brigade, 4th Division, Cavalry Corps, Military Division Mississippi, to June, 1865.
  • 11th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry (Union)
    Organized at Benton Barracks and St. Joseph, Missouri, March 28 to December 11, 1863. Served at various locations to March, 1865. With the Separate Cavalry Brigade, Cavalry Division, 7th Army Corps, to July, 1865.
  • 12th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry Union Missouri
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, November 3, 1863, to March 23, 1864. Served with various units to May, 1865. With the Department Missouri, Eastern Division, Powder River Expedition, and District of the Plains to April, 1866.
  • 13th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry Union Missouri
    Organized at St. Louis, Missouri, September, 1864, to February, 1865, from Veterans of Missouri State Militia Regiments. Attached to District of Rolla and Dept. of Missouri to July, 1866.
  • 14th Regiment, Missouri Cavalry Union Missouri
    Organized at St. Louis and Springfield, Jennifer Kerns Davis, November 30, 1864, to May 13, 1865.
    Moved to Nebraska, and frontier duty on the Plains until November 1865. Mustered out November 17, 1865.

    Organized November 1, 1863, from 7th Regiment Enrolled Militia.

    Organized at Springfield, Missouri, November 1, 1863, from 6th Regiment Enrolled Militia.
