FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.


Center Contacts and Hours

Location & Map:

  • Address: 2112 Sunset Avenue, Madera, California
  • Family History Center entrance is at the northeast door. Ring bell located on the brick wall to the left of the doors for entrance to the center.  
  • Map to Madera California Family History Center

Phone: 559-661-7700 (Call during Family History Center open hours for assistance.)

Open Hours:

  • Tuesdays and Wednesday 10am-1pm
  • Tues., Wed., & Thurs: 6:30pm-8:30pm (Call between those hoursll before coming in to verify that a consultant has opened the center.)

Holiday Schedule: Closed on major holidays.

Closed Tuesday, December 25th, 2012.

Closed Tuesday, January 1st, 2013.

Appointments: Call to make an appointment for a more convenient time, if necessary.
