Letter A R2 Plantation is an extinct plantation, now an unorganized territory (township) in the South Aroostook townships of Aroostook County. Letter A R2 Plantation was organized from Township Letter A, Second Range West of the Easterly Line of the State (TA R2 WELS) in 1856. That organization was surrendered at a later time, and it has since remained unorganized territory.[1]
