KIRKBY-LONSDALE (St. Mary), a market-townand parish, in the union of Kendal, Lonsdale ward,county of Westmorland; comprising the chapelries of Barbon, Casterton, Firbank, Hutton-Roof, Killington,Mansergh, and Middleton, and the townships of Kirkby-Lonsdale and Lupton.[1]
