'Kensington St. Mary , was an ancient parish, and the head of a union, in the Kensington division of the hundred of Ossulstone, County of Middlesex, 2 miles west by south of London. Here is a Comprehensive List ofChurches and Chapels in St Mary Abbots Kensington Parish.
'Chapels of worship were built for Roman Catholics, Baptists and Independents. In addition, the Kensal-Green Cemetery was created in 1833 which included 15 acres for the interment of dissenters (Nonconformists).' See also Brompton.
