Jerusalem Plantation is a former plantation, now the town of Carrabassett Valley in Franklin County, Maine. Jerusalem Plantation (also known as Sugarloaf, Crockertown, or Treadwell) was organized from Township 3 Second Range Bingham's Kennebec Purchase West of Kennebec River (T3 R2 BKP WKR) in 1855, and reorganized in 1858 and 1881. In 1971 Jerusalem Plantation was incorporated as the town of Carrabassett Valley.[1] [2]
