The Italy, Catanzaro, Civil Registration (State Archive) collection is available to the Family History Library, FamilySearch Centers, and to members of the supporting organization, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Italian Data Privacy rules prohibit viewing the following records: All birth images must be 100 years or older; all marriage images must be 70 years or older, and all death images must be 70 years or older.

This Collection will include records from 1809 to 1865.
This collection includes some of the civil registration (stato civile) records of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the State Archive of Catanzaro (Archivio di Stato di Catanzaro). There are additional stato civile and other records for the Province of Catanzaro which are not part of this collection, which are available on microfilm from the FHL. There are also additional stato civile (and many other historical records) held at the Archivio di Stato di Catanzaro which have not been microfilmed by the FHL.
The present collection includes marriage banns (pubblicazioni; notificazioni); baptismal records; marriage memorandums (atti di memorandum); diverse records (atti diversi); and marriage supplemental documents (processetti). Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality.
